Golden Hour Shines Light On Our Favorite Pollinators: Honey Bees

Each June, the National Honey Board looks forward to celebrating National Pollinator Week, an annual celebration in support of pollinator health and time to raise awareness for pollinators and what we can do to protect them.

This National Pollinator Week, the National Honey Board celebrated with an event dedicated to honey and honey bees, the Golden Hour. Event attendees enjoyed a flower dissection from Project Apis m. that broke down how honey bees pollinate, along with an on-site observation hive. The event highlighted how important honey bees are to our greater food supply and the little things we can all do to support these pollinators, including buying honey and made-with-honey products.

Huge thanks to our amazing Honey Saves Hives partners: Barr Hill, Frönen, Justin's, Kate's Real Food, Mary's Gone Crackers and Sprecher and for supporting our mission and highlighting the impact of honey bees on our ecosystem.

Together, we are making a difference for honey bees. Let's keep the buzz going!
